Films Releasing In Cinemas On Eid Ul Adha 2024

Cinema in Pakistan is in shambles for the past 3 years after the pandemic destroyed the revival that was happening. Add to it the crushing economy and political instability that raised the ticket prices but left the public unable to buy such a luxury, this all led to cinemas suffering. Films are not being made and not being released either. Eid ul Adha is however bringing some big movies to the screens. Here is a list of movies releasing on Eid ul Adha 2024:

Umro Ayyar: 

The upcoming Pakistani film "Umro Ayyar: A New Beginning" promises to bring an exciting blend of fantasy, adventure, and action to the big screen. Directed by Azfar Jafri and written by Atif Siddique, the film is set to be released on Eid al-Adha 2024. It stars Usman Mukhtar as Amar, a modern-day descendant of the legendary Umro Ayyar, who discovers his heritage and must confront the powerful sorcerer Laqqa, played by Faran Tahir. The ensemble cast also includes Sanam Saeed, Ali Kazmi, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Manzar Sehbai​

Abhi :

The upcoming Pakistani film "Abhi" is set to be a notable release for Eid ul Adha 2024. Directed by Asad Mumtaz and featuring a star-studded cast, including Goher Mumtaz, Kubra Khan, and Hareem Farooq, the movie delves into the complexities of love, loss, and personal discovery amid a backdrop of military conflict.

Goher Mumtaz not only stars in the film but also plays a significant role behind the scenes as a producer and scriptwriter. The film promises a compelling narrative with a mix of action, romance, and drama, set to captivate audiences. The music for "Abhi" includes the song "Udd Jana," performed by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Tanya Wells, further heightening anticipation for this cinematic experience​

"Abhi" is produced by Pennine Kennedy Films and GM Productions and will be distributed by Hum TV. The movie aims to offer a memorable viewing experience with its engaging storyline and strong performances

Na Baligh Afraad:

Na Baligh Afraad is directd by Nabeel Qureshi and it will feature youngsters Aashir Wajahat and Samar Jafri in the leads. The film will be released in cinemas though it speculated before that the film will come directly on OTT.

Inside Out 2:

Inside Out was a big animated film and won awards when it came out. The sequel was in making and it is coming out in 2024. Many fans are looking forward to it and children will also have something to watch on Eid ul Adha.
